Our Journey

37 years ago, Louise broke into the beauty industry. Following her passion for creativity she worked as an educator, platform artist, and did many runway shows all across Long Island and New York.

As a young girl, her daughter Karissa would sit and watch her mother create beautiful hair and build meaningful relationships with her clients. Karissa decided she wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps and began working with her at a young age and went on to get her license as a cosmetologist. Full of excitement and drive for a future career, the two went on to build another relationship as business partners in an industry they shared a love for. Karissa has taken many workshops, classes, and seminars to keep up on the latest trends and also to develop the skills to educate her team.

They have now been proud owners since 2002 in West Babylon. Through this experience, they have gained a much higher respect for each other personally and as business partners. Their strong points in the industry as both owners and educators has molded their team to be a talented and amazing group of artists that we are truly proud and grateful for today. The most amazing thing to watch is how we all work so closely together as a team and not just individually. We are all fortunate enough to care and respect each other as one big family. This career has brought us so much joy over the years. Touching people's lives every day and putting smiles on faces is what makes our career so fulfilling.

We are named after Karissa's beautiful and strong little boy Giuseppe Fontana.
